Florence Miailhe (1956) ist a director, painter and teacher. She graduated with honors from the ENSAD.  Her films are mostly painted under camera and have been shown on more than 200 prestigious festivals, winning over 80 prizes, amongst them the Cesar in 2002, the Prix de Cannes in 2006 and others such as Clermond Ferrand, Hiroshima and Esphino.

Her latest project La Traversée/The Crossing is her first feature film, which premiered in Annecy in 2021.
